A beautiful wreath deserves a beautiful way to display it. Below are a few of my favorite over the door wreath hangers. Some add a decorative touch all on their own, while others blend into the background and let your wreath take center stage.

Christmas Tree Wreath Hanger

Perfect for the holiday season, this Christmas tree hanger adds an extra festive detail to your front door. It’s a fun choice if you decorate for Christmas and want your wreath hanger to become part of the display instead of disappearing behind it.

Owl Wreath Hanger

Add a little personality to your front door with this charming owl design. It’s a great option for fall decorating or for anyone who enjoys nature inspired home décor. Even when your wreath changes with the seasons, the owl adds a welcoming touch.

Adjustable Interchangeable Seasonal Wreath Hanger

This is one of my favorite ideas because you don’t have to buy a new decorative hanger every season. Simply swap the interchangeable icon to match the time of year. It’s a fun way to refresh your front door without replacing the entire hanger.

Fleur de Lis Wreath Hanger

If your style leans classic or traditional, this elegant Fleur de Lis design is a beautiful choice. The decorative detail complements wreaths without taking attention away from them and works well throughout the year.

Adjustable Metal Wreath Hangers, Two Pack

Sometimes simple is the best option. These adjustable hangers make it easy to position your wreath at the perfect height, and their slim profile keeps the focus on your wreath instead of the hardware. Having two in the set is also handy if you like to decorate more than one door.

Protecting Your Door

One feature I take pride in is that every Plan Bee Home wreath is fully backed with felt. The felt helps protect your door by preventing the wreath itself from coming into direct contact with the surface.

Most over the door wreath hangers are made of metal, which means the hanger, not the wreath, is the part most likely to leave marks on painted or stained doors over time.

To help reduce the possibility of scratching, I recommend adding small felt pads or clear silicone bumper dots to the back of the hanger anywhere it comes into contact with your door. They’re inexpensive, easy to apply, and help add a layer of protection while keeping your wreath beautifully displayed.

Here are a couple of recommendations –

Depending on the design of your wreath hanger, I recommend using protective pads that are smaller than 1 inch. Apply them only where the metal comes into contact with your door. While 3/8 inch pads are the most common size, I prefer 1/2 inch pads because they provide a little more coverage while remaining discreet.
